Schools across the UK were not going to let the postponement of COP26 delay their plans to come together last week for the Youth Climate Summit.

Students and teachers joined virtual sessions to learn more about the actions they can take to create a sustainable future, including making commitments to tackle the climate emergency from within their own school.

Energy Sparks, part of our Climate Changers programme, has developed an online, school-specific energy analysis tool and education programme which can reduce schools’ carbon emissions and bills.

The below video from their Youth Climate Summit session highlights some of the great work students have been doing to save energy – complete with messages to world leaders about the actions they would like to see.

We hope you enjoy the tour of their inspiring school as much as we did!
